This site is run by me, Mark Hughes, a fan of the music of Brian Spence.

This site was created when I found it difficult to find out what Brian was doing today - there was very little out there. Everyone told me Brian was a nice guy (and still is) but that was all that was known. This oversight has now been resolved with this web site.

AllStar Tribute Acts

This site is run by Brian Spence, who I have come to look upon as a friend. He has been in the music business since he left school, back in 1969.

Brian's web site was up and running before I came on the scene, I would like to think I gave it a little more direction and style. However, at the end of the day, all of the work is Brian's. He's just too polite to take my name off of the site.

Brian Spence started a new band with a like-minded person in the shape of Stewart Irving. Debbie McKenna (Brian wife) also joined as an equal member and together they produced a great album.

I was asked, by Virginia Irving the band's manager, to help build their web site. I was more than happy to do so. The site is Virginia's vision made into reality by me.

Platform Music

Orginally created to showcase The Wish this once-a-month event in an eastend of London pub highlights singer-songwriter talents - and what talent's they are. The event is run by musicians for musicians plus other people who like their music varied. The only money the musicians make at this event is from the sales of any merchandise, i.e. CD's, etc.

Well worth a visit if you are in the Stratford area of London on the first Tuesday of the month.

A site created by Ritchie Finney and Mark Hughes as a spin-off of Spence Music. The site features information about Brian Spence before he went solo with his band Bilbo Baggins.
